Maybe this is just a pet peeve I have. But... it's starting to annoy me when people email me, telling me one or two little things about themselves ("Hi, my name is John Doe, and I live in Canada."), and then they say, "tell me more about yourself." UM.... pretty much everything is right here! I mean, of course there are countless other things, but this is a REALLY good place to start if you want to get to know me. Maybe I shoud take the pictures down. Some people just go straight to the pictures, judge whether or not they think I'm "hot," and decide to email me or not email me. That's ridiculous. Don't expect me to return your email if you do that.
Don't get me wrong-- I think it's really fun when random people email me saying, "Wow, liked your site, just thought I'd write to say hello," or "Your site really sucks, and here's why," and then they say several pertinent comments, which in turn prompts me to write back. Like a normal conversation. But it's just a little annoying when randoms email me and say nothing about themselves, and then say "So, tell me about yourself." Wait, I already said that.
Well, I have this habit of repeating things that bug me.
Of course, I should just get over it and ignore these people, and move on to the more interesting people out there who can actually say something halfway intelligent.
Naturally, people who send me these types of email messages most likely won't be reading my journal... which means they won't be seeing this entry, which means they'll never know what I think of them.
To be a little bitchy, I could just reply to their email with a link to this journal entry, and not say anything else. THAT would be kinda funny. But bitchy.
Ok, I'm fine now, really, I just had to get that little vent outta my system.
If this were the worst thing to ever happen to me, I'd be one wicked lucky chick.
