Well, I'm headed home. To Texas. Well, ok, to my parents' house. It should be fun. I'll see the family again, and I'll relax, and smell Christmas smells and gaze at the Christmas tree after everyone else has gone to bed.

I look forward to it.

To you, family, friends, and strangers who read this, have a wonderful holiday, and I'll see you around the corner.

I wish I had something more profound to say... but just think about Christmas and what it really means. It doesn't mean rushing out to battle the crowds and getting angry when you can't get that one perfect Christmas gift-- sometimes just being there for someone and giving that person a hug is the most meaningful act you can commit.

Say a silent prayer for those who can't enjoy Christmas as much as you and I will.

Light and candle and stare into it... are you really who you want to be?
