but still..
today is my birthday.
and what a crummy day to have as a birthday, too. i was sicker
than sick last night, and i have no idea why. maybe my body was
just trying to tell me to slow down.
it does that sometimes, when my brain doesn't listen to the rest
of me.
but anyway, i went to bed last night rather early because i was
feeling particularly tired, and i woke up about an hour later and
had to dash to the bathroom, where i stayed with my head in the
toilet for about 1/2 an hour.
i'll spare any other details, but i was sick for about 4 hours,
and then around 3:30am i was finally able to fall asleep (without
abruptly waking up again, until my alarm went off at 6:15)...
it might have been something i ate or drank yesterday, but
whatever it was, it gave me a nice reminder that i can't just go
nonstop indefinitely without taking care of myself first.
hm.. what a way to start my 24th year.
otherwise, today was just an ordinary day.
ho hum.
this is, by the way, my first birthday on the net. i mean, it's certainly not the first birthday i've had since being an internet junkie, just the first birthday for me while i've had my webpage here at tritton.com.
the first of many, i hope...
