grazing your lips seems so
when I see the smiling tease of your eyes--
when I know I've explored your shoulders,
the tingling I feel
just knowing I've caressed your legs,
and the comfort of knowing
your scents and reveling in them
somehow pacifies all the questions
streaming from my brain like sugar--
sticking to the air they seize,
creating a cloud of doubt inside of me
that instantly vanishes
the moment I taste the sweet candy
inside of you.
